Detailed Program

Time Description
Your manager will specify the meeting time at the time of booking.
00:00 - 00:10 Meet your guide at your hotel lobby and start the day with a walking exploration of Oslo city center.
During the walk, you will get to see up close the highlights of this beautiful Nordic city like the old fortress Akershus and enjoy a colorful stroll through King Christian IV’s town to the main street Karl Johansgt.
On the main street, you will see the Oslo Cathedral, the Parliament Building, the National Theatre, and the Royal Palace.

After an exciting 1 hour walk, you will depart to Vigeland park  – the world’s largest sculpture park made by a single artist and one of Norway’s most beautiful tourist attractions. This unique sculpture park is Gustav Vigeland’s lifework, with over 200 sculptures made of bronze, granite, and wrought iron.

Having contemplated the park views, continue your day with Oslo’s finest vantage point – Holmenkollen Ski jump!  Dating back to the late 19th century, this ski hill had been rebuilt since then 19 times and was used during the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo. Since that time, it was totally redesigned, and the new sports center opened in 2010. You will have approximately 20 minutes to enjoy fantastic views of Oslo, take beautiful photos, and make wonderful memories for your trip back home.
And another highlight of the tour will be the Viking Museum. The Viking ship museum is possibly the most popular in Oslo. Your friendly local guide will explain the history and the way of life during the Viking era. The exhibition is truly unique and boasts original wooden ships that had been perfectly conserved even though they are over a thousand years old!
04:00  We will conclude your tour back at the hotel. If you wish, you are welcome to stay in the city for further exploration.
