Our guide, Luba, was excellent. She was incredibly knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions on a variety of topics. We enjoyed our 2 days with her and felt that we had truly gotten a bit of a Russian perspective, not an easy thing to do in a country where many people do not speak much English. We were traveling with our adult children and felt that Luba tried very hard to determine what we each wanted to see and point out those details. I highly recommend Ulko Tours.  Catherine's palace tour includes: Explore the favourite residence of Empress Catherine the Great and see what was left from it after the hard days of the Second World War. Enjoy the unconventional beauty of the newly-recreated Amber Room, which is considered to be the 8th wonder of the world. Walk the peaceful grounds of Catherine's residence and relax.

Peterhof tour includes: Park - Explore the world-famous gardens and enjoy the multitude of beautiful fountains and realise that the nick-name this place was given - Russian Versailles - is more than justified! Palace (certain tours only) -  Enjoy the cosiness of this 'miniature' (in comparison to the Winter palace and Catherine's palace) Imperial residence rebuilt by Rastrelli from Peter's modest mansion into a truly splendid gala residence of Elisabeth!
