We were part of the group which Angela and Robert Morris organized with you in September 2011. I just wanted you to know that “Alexandra” who looked after us on our first day in Moscow was an excellent tour guide and showed us lots of things on our way from the airport into the city centre and also in the city. We had a wonderful start to our Russia holiday with Alexandra.

Terms and Conditions

     Once you have chosen your travel arrangements please read the conditions of travel as your booking is subject to the terms listed below. A contract is entered into once we receive your deposit and we accept and confirm the booking. Please note that travel arrangements are NOT confirmed until stated so in writing by UlkoTours.    

     Before you go

Passports/Visas - For international travel, U.S. citizens need a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond completion of the cruise or tour as well as a Russian Visa (NO Visas are required for Europe and the Baltics). Non-U.S. citizens should contact their booking agent or appropriate consulate for infomation on all necessary documents required.

Port Security Measures/Customs - The Port and Customs Authority requires all passengers to provide their name exactly as it appears on the passport, passport number, their date of birth and gender, as well as Citizenship.

Membeship and Health - Membership will be granted to all persons. Please consult your physician for pre-departure health advice. UlkoTours reserves the right to terminate the tour of any persons who are abusive of others or whose behaviour disrupts the tour. Easy Tours are suitable for persons that require assistance or use a wheelchair. If you require a slower pace, extra assistance, or the use of a cane/walking stick, the Easy tours will be perfect for you. Moderate and Intensive programs are not recommended for guests with special needs. These are active programs and require you to make a realistic assessment of your health. All participants are expected to be in active good health and to be ready to experience cultural differences with grace. Walking and climbing the stairs are required in many museums and cathedrals/churches. If you require a slower pace, extra assistance, or the use of a cane/walking stick/wheelchair, UlkoTours private programs are here to help you.

Travelers Needing Special Assistance - It is recommended that guests needing such assistance be accompanied by an able companion who will assist them during the tour. We regret that some itineraries cannot accommodate wheelchairs or motorized scooters; ask at booking. Wheelchairs are available for rental on daily basis, at 50 USD per day. If required we can provide services of a strong male assistant to help pushing the chair/getting the person in and out of the vehicle (if no special vehicle is ordered). Price depends on duration and intensity level. Please contact us for details.

Photography and Video on Tour - Occasionally UlkoTours will use photographers and/or video taken by fellow guests on tour for print, Internet and other media promotional purposes. If you prefer that your image NOT be used in any marketing activities, please notify your UlkoTours guide at the start of your tour.

     Booking Procedures  

       UlkoTours Ltd is pleased to present a new DEPOSIT-FREE ¹ reservation system of guide, driver services and city tours in St.Petersburg,  Russia.

STEP 1: To make your booking please contact us at sales@UlkoTours.com or fill in the Reservation Form in Contact Us section.

STEP 2: Provide us with all the necessary tour details: arrival and departure dates, ship/hotel name, number of people in your party and tour preferences.

If you require something other that the tours suggested on the webite and in UlkoTours brochures, together we will work out a customized tour for you and you will know the TOTAL amount of your requested services.

STEP 3 (for visa-free cruise visitors): To complete your booking we need the following details from you for each passenger (in order to provide Blanket visas/visa-free tour):

       Full Name

       DOB

       Passport #

       Citizenship

STEP 4 (for visa-free cruise visitors): Once your Travel Tickets/Vouchers are ready, we will email then to you in .pdf format together with the necessary instructions.

       ¹ :  Deposit-free is applied to Visa-Free cruise visitors. There's a 100 USD per person required for all hotel guests. If besides the regular tour program you require any additional services (like theater and train tickets purchase), a 100% pre-payment is required to process your additional order.

     Deposit

       There's a 100 USD per person deposit required for all land tours. You can view various options for deposit payment by clicking here.

     Discounts Eligibility 

          Please note that no offers and discounts can be combined!

        5% Early Bird Discount =  Applies to bookings made at least 3 months prior to the tour date. Qualifying bookings MUST be prepaid by CHECK ONLY to U.S. office.

        Infants - Children under 6 are FREE without a reserved seat.

        Student Discount (age 7-16) =  10-40 USD (depending on the tour program chosen) applies to all students/schoolchildren aged 7 - 16.

        College students (from 17) MUST have their Student IDs (valid ISIC card) , otherwise the discount is not applicable. Failure to present Student ID in museums may result in full tour fee instead of the discounted one.

       FOC 1 FOC is allowed per 19 passengers group. Offer valid for Private groups only. Not applicable to GDT tours.

     Payments

       An appropriate deposit for each program chosen will be your only obligation until you arrive to St.Petersburg, Russia. The balance of the cost must be paid upon arrival or may be pre-paid in advance.

       The deposit goes towards your total tour amount.

        The deposit amount is partially refundable if some special admissions have been already reserved for you and is non-refundable if the amount of prepaid reservation carried out by UlkoTours exceeds the amount of the deposit.

       Never send a deposit without first contacting one of UlkoTours Managers about your tour.

      Pre-Payment Instructions for Additional Oders

       An Additional Order covers all extra tickets not included into a standard package tour, i.e. theater and folk-show tickets, train and plane tickets, any other bookings/reservations that you need us to perform on your behalf.

       A 100% pre-payment for all additional orders is required at the moment of booking by check/ Credit Card/ PayPal/ Bank Money transfer. If a 100% pre-payment is not received within 7 working days after the booking request the reservation is canceled automatically.

       UlkoTours Ltd reserves the right to cancel all reserved bookings in case a pre-payment is made untimely, incompletely or incorrectly.

     Pre-Payment and Payment Instructions for private tours

       UlkoTours Ltd doesn’t require a deposit to make a non-cruise reservation.

       A Total amount for the tour is payable either by Credit Card at the end of your tour or by check prior to arrival.

      If your tour is based on hourly rate, we will provide you with a detailed receipt for all the services rendered.

     Payment Options (Deposits/Advance Payments/Additional Orders)

       UlkoTours LLC accepts several forms of payments for Deposits/Advance Payments/ Additional Orders.

1. Payment by check: Your check should be made out to UlkoTours LLC and mailed to our US office: 333 Bay Arbor Blvd, Oldsmar FL 34667

2. Payment by Credit Card Download Credit Card Authorization form

3. Bank Money Transfer: Contact us for details about National Money Transfer (within the USA) to the ULkoTours LLC account at Wells Fargo.

4. Payment by PayPal: Your payment should be directed to elena@ulkotours.com

Cancellation policy and Refunds 

       A customer may cancel the tour at any planning stage. Should you wish to cancel your travel arrangements, you must notify UlkoTours in writing. Please state the reason for cancellation as you might be covered by your insurance policy. If there have been no services performed and no additional orders purchased for you, you will get your 100% refund for the canceled tour by check from UlkoTours LLC or by funds transfer to your PayPal account maximum within 2 weeks after the written cancellation. Unfortunately, we do NO refunds for Additional Orders once the order has been purchased fo you.

     Granting of services

       When a pre-payment is received by UlkoTours Ltd we will send you an e-mail confirmation with reference number and details for all services ordered.

     Late arrival and "NO SHOW"

        In case a client does not arrive by an appointed time to the place where services start to be granted: 
-- an order for transfer will be held for 2 hours starting from an appointed time, then it will be cancelled automatically  
-- an order for  a personal tour guide and other additional services (interpreters, private driver, etc.) will be cancelled after 1 hour.

-- an order for Visa-free shore tour will be cancelled after 2 hours.

     "Early departure"

       In case of early departure (emergency cases only) a client according to his application by email or phone will be refunded the money for the services, that have been ordered and prepaid but not used.

      Gifts Policy 

       Each customer booking a tour with UlkoTours receives 1 (one) FREE gift of 2 (two) available:

1. A photo album of St.Petersburg

2. A DVD with a movie 'Russian Ark'

Customers are encouraged to choose the desired gift, however, all gifts are subject to availability. No cash substitutions.

Note:  1(one) gift PER MARRIED COUPLE. Children/Students are not entitled to receive THIS particular type of gift (special Kids Welcome Gifts available for them)
